Hi Qlik and Inphinity community,
Welcome to the latest release of Inphinity Forms and Inphinity Flow.
This release focuses on simplifying administration and improving the experience for both administrators and end users. The headline feature is Automatic License Allocation, which reduces manual user management in large SaaS deployments.
We’ve also significantly improved the performance of the Inphinity Forms Admin application for tenants with thousands of users and added the ability to define custom file names for exported Excel files.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.
Automatic License Allocation
In Inphinity Full SaaS deployments with hundreds of users we can now enable the automatic license allocation for users to automatically consume Inphinity license when they access Inphinity Forms object they have permission for.
Even with this functionality enabled, automatic license does not replace manual license allocation – it is up to administrators who should always have the license allocated and who consumes it on the go if there is a free license available.
Note that users with automatic license allocation:
- Cannot be Inphinity tenant admins
Cannot be Inphinity organizational unit admins
Cannot have user-level permissions defined – their access to Inphinity Forms is managed through user groups only

Forms Admin Application Performance
In the release, we also significantly improved performance of Inphinity Forms Admin application in Qlik Cloud tenants with thousands of users.
Alex Walker, Inphinity Champion, Ometis: “We upgraded Inphinity Forms for one of our customers today and the difference in performance is VERY noticeable – it’s almost 100x faster to load the User list with thousands of users.”
Custom Export File Name
When using the action Export, developer can now define the file name by expression to make it more transparent for the end users in their local computer, especially if the exported file is required for any further process. For example, when exporting an approved plan for the next year, the exported file can be automatically named Plan_Approved_2027.xlsx instead of the default file name forms_data.xlsx.

Other Improvements
As always, we have also addressed reported bugs. You can find the full changelog for Inphinity Forms on this link and for Inphinity Flow here.
