Hi to all the Qlik & Inphinity community and welcome to the new release of Inphinity Forms.
After several releases packed with innovation, such as file upload to SharePoint, signature field type or user adjustments in planning, this month we focused on making life easier for developers and administrators.
In this release, we’re introducing a new data source type: MS Fabric SQL Server.
We’ve also made it simpler to learn and build applications (not only) with Forms Planning. The documentation now shows guides for each form type, and multiple new Forms Planning guides have been added.
For seamless real-time collaboration in large Qlik multi-node deployments, we have introduced Forms Multinode Coordinator.
Let’s explore it together.
New Data Soruce Type: MS Fabric SQL Server
You can now easily connect Inphinity Forms to your MS Fabric SQL Server using the new predefined data source type in the Forms Admin application.

New Guides For Forms Planning
Each form type now has an Introduction page in the documentation. It includes key information along with relevant Guides and Examples.
For Forms Planning, we have added several new guides inspired by real-life implementations, for example:
- Flags for forecasts – how to easily combine actuals and forecasts
Prefill Forms Planning QVD – how to prefill plans before manual user adjustments
Version Management – how to build a version management system

Forms Multinode Coordinator
To improve reliable real-time collaboration in high-availability multi-node Qlik deployments, we’ve introduced the Forms Multinode Coordinator. This new optional service provides an efficient and resilient communication channel between Forms backend services in a multi-node environment.
Other Improvements
As always, this release also includes smaller enhancements, such as:
- “Duplicate action” and “Duplicate sequence” buttons
“Expand/Collapse all” option in the Forms Planning context menu
“Run QAA” action parameters by expression
Faster performance when pasting thousands of new rows
As always, we also fixed reported bugs. You can find the full changelog here.
